BREAKING: PDP’s Dare Defeat Incumbent Matawalle In Zamfara
Lawal the governor-elect with a total of 377,726 votes
Lawal Dare of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has defeated the incumbent Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawall, of the All People Congress APC, in the Saturday governorship election.
The PDP candidate was declared the winner in Gusau, the state capital in the early hours of Tuesday
The returning officer for the election Professor Kasimu Shehu who declared Dare the winner of 18 March Governorship election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Lawal the governor-elect with a total of 377,726 votes, after he defeated Matawalle of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 311,976.
