BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Five, Including Mother, Daughter, In Kwara Community
Among them are a woman, her daughter, another woman who was visiting, and two men
Ilorin, Kwara State – Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers abducted five individuals, including a mother and her daughter, in Odo-Eku, a community in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Afrika Eyes gathered that the assailants stormed the community under the cover of darkness and whisked their victims away to an unknown location on Wednesday about 1:30am.
Elder Ogundeji, the Odofin of Odo-Eku, revealed to Afrika Eyes that gunmen stormed the homes of their victims overnight, abducting five people.
“The victims are Hausa farmers who live in Odo-Eku,” he explained. “Among them are a woman, her daughter, another woman who was visiting, and two men.”
Ogundeji added that police officers had visited the scene. “We showed them where it happened, and they assured us they would investigate and work to rescue the victims.”
Attempts to reach the spokesperson for the Kwara State Police Command, SP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, for comments were unsuccessful, as she did not answer calls or respond to messages.
