BREAKING: FCT Police Commissioner Orders Arrest Of Omoyele Sowore After Court Appearance
Afrika Eyes gathered that Sowore was confronted by a police officer moments after exiting the courtroom
Abuja, Nigeria– The Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has reportedly ordered the arrest of Nigerian human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, shortly after he left the court premises on Thursday.
Afrika Eyes gathered that Sowore was confronted by a police officer moments after exiting the courtroom.
However, the officer informed him that there was an arrest order issued by the FCT Police Commissioner.
The source added that Sowore was being taken to the FCT Police Command in the company of his lawyer, Tope Temokun.
Meanwhile, two police vans were said to be trailing them as they headed towards the command headquarters.
