BREAKING: Bandits Kill Councilor In Niger

Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have reportedly killed a Councilor Representing Allawa Ward of Shiroro Local Government of Niger State.

The  councillor, Saleh Yakubu, was shot dead on Friday morning when he left Kuta to his hometown Allawa.

The Chief of staff to the Executive Chairman of Shiroro Local Government Council, confirmed the incident to Afrika Eyes.

“While seeking Solace in the will of Allah, we pray may Allah grant us all the fortitude to bear the deep Pains of our irreplaceable loss of Mallam Saleh Yakubu.

“May Allah have Mercy on the Soul of Mallam Saleh, Forgive his Sins and Admit him unto his Mercy at Al-Jannah Firdaus,” he added.
