BREAKING: APC Suspends Rauf Aregbesola Over Allegations Of Anti-Party Activities In Osun

Osogbo, Osun State– The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has suspended former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, over  allegations of anti-party activities.

A resolution detailing the suspension has been submitted to the APC National Secretariat, addressed to National Chairman Dr. Umar Ganduje.

Aregbesola, a former governor of Osun State, is accused of creating divisions within the party by forming a splinter faction, an action deemed detrimental to the party’s unity during a critical period in the state’s political landscape.

The Osun APC explained that Aregbesola’s actions have exacerbated internal discord, with party leaders expressing concerns about his influence over certain groups.

This suspension represents a decisive move by the state chapter of the APC to address perceived disloyalty and realign its leadership ahead of upcoming elections.
