Bandits Kill Three, Abduct Villagers In Fresh Attacks On Kwara Communities

Ilorin,  Kwara State– Armed bandits launched a deadly nighttime attack on Kokodo village in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State, killing three people and abducting two others.

Afrika Eyes gathered that the incident occurred on Thursday night, throwing the community into panic and mourning.

Meanwhile, in a related incident, the assailants reportedly invaded Lalagi village overnight, where one person was kidnapped.

Kwara State, particularly its northern and southern regions, has witnessed a disturbing surge in killings and kidnappings in recent months. Victims’ families are often forced to pay heavy ransoms to secure the release of abducted loved ones.

Residents have continued to call on security agencies and the state government to take urgent steps to end the recurring attacks that have left many communities vulnerable.
