Bandits Invade Kwara Community, Abduct Several Residents

Ilorin, Kwara State– A group of armed bandits reportedly invaded Igbonla community in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State on Sunday night, abducting an unspecified number of people.
A source who spoke with Afrika Eyes said the gunmen stormed the community under the cover of darkness, shooting sporadically to instill fear and force residents out of their homes before whisking several people away to an unknown destination.
“The incident happened late on Sunday night. The attackers came in large numbers and kidnapped several residents, but we can’t confirm how many people were taken yet,” the source said.
