Bandits Abduct Two Brothers In Kaduna
The kidnappers have made our area their target of attacks, abducting many of our people so often.
Suspected bandits have kidnapped a health worker along with his brother in Wusasa, within the Zaria local government area of Kaduna State.
The victims, identified as Yushau Peter, employed at St. Luke’s Hospital Wusasa, and his brother, Joshua Peter, were then abducted by the bandits.
It was gathered that a group of bandits launched an invasion in the area around 9 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, firing sporadic shots to create chaos and disperse the gathered crowd before singling out their targets.
On Saturday, Engineer Isiyaku Ibrahim, the village head of Wusasa, officially confirmed the incident to the newsmen.
“The kidnappers have made our area their target of attacks, abducting many of our people so often,” he said.
Yushau and Joshua, both hailing from Ikara local government, had recently experienced a harrowing encounter. They were forced to flee their residence following a bandit attack that resulted in the abduction of their elderly father, Mr Peter.
