Bala Mohammed Hosts SDP Presidential Candidate, Party Leaders In Bauchi After National Convention
Governor Bala Mohammed, dressed in a blue outfit during the reception, welcomed the delegation at the Government House.
Bauchi State — A high-powered delegation of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) on Tuesday stormed the Government House in Bauchi State shortly after the party’s convention, where they were received by Governor Bala Mohammed.
Among the prominent SDP figures at the meeting were the party’s National Treasurer, Hajiya Mariam Magi; member of the National Working Committee (NWC), Senator Ugochukwu Uba; the SDP’s presidential flag bearer, Prince Adewole Adebayo; chairman of the party, Professor Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe; and the party’s National Secretary, Dr. Olu Agunloye.
Also present was the SDP National Women Leader, Hajiya Sa’adatu Abdullah, alongside other party stakeholders and loyalists who participated in the state convention earlier in the day.

The SDP leadership has in recent months intensified grassroots mobilisation and internal consultations aimed at repositioning the party as a viable political force in the country.
