A political support group, AbdulRahamn AbdulRazaq Peoples Trust (AA-APT), in Ifelodun local government of Kwara State have alleged procurement of Abdullateef Quadir and Alaka to impersonate the governor in Igbaja.

This was contained in a document, made available to journalists in Ilorin, drawing the attention of Governor AbdulRazaq over some impostors who crave to reap where they never planted.

In a statement signed by the coordinator, Wasiu Adelodun “We congratulate our dear governor and elected officials from our local government and those that have served with the governor for bringing good governance close to the people. We are confident that Isenlo 2.0 will be more rewarding In Sha Allah to the good people of Ifelodun in particular and Kwara State in general”.

“impostors who crave to reap where they never planted are back in the party and have started creating factions in the local government starting from Igbaja Ward 1.

“The media have been awash with the story of how Gbenga Oyekunle aka Power attempted to seize the party structure in Igbaja ward 1 with a Greek gift. This was only made possible through the party chairman, Abdullateef Quadir whose stock in trade is ‘wetin you carry’. Apparently, he was procured at a fee!

” As you aware election is never a 100-meter dash, it is a marathon that involves a series of activities before the final balloting day. We wish to ask Gbenga Power through the procured local government chair at what stage did Gbenga Power participate in the campaign for either Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq or any of the elected officials?”

He added that after losing the primaries and his inability to clinch the party ticket for the second time in four years, Mr. Oyekunle rushed to pick the ticket of ADC and flew its flag at the polls. “The thirst of this serial loser can not be assuaged by anyone in this world since he failed to understand that only Allah gives power. His current effort at robbing old men and women who supported the governor and other APC elected officials is a pointer that he is courting the wrath of their maker which will continue to hunt him.”

He, however, called on the leadership of the party at the state level and the government to investigate the unknown face who has never represented the governor in any official capacity that showed up in Igbaja during the feast called by Mr Oyekunle to feed his men of mean virtues.
