Abducted Mobile Police Officer Found Dead In Plateau

Jos, Plateau State- A mobile police officer who was abducted in the Kampani community of Bashar District, Wase Local Government Area, Plateau State, has been found dead.

It would be recaled that a policeman and a soldier, both part of a security team combating bandits in a community bordering Taraba State, was ambushed near Kampani community last Wednesday.

While the soldier managed to escape, the policeman was not as fortunate.

Daily Trust reports that a source from Wase town confirmed the latest development, saying the lifeless body of the policeman was found in a bush at Bangalala, on Sunday, August 18.
