AAUA Student Allegedly Commits Suicide After Church Vigil

Akure, Ondo State– A 500-level student, Ayandare Modupe, from Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba, Ondo State, has reportedly committed suicide.

Modupe, who was also the President of the Department of Agronomy, committed suicide around 4 a.m. after attending a church vigil.

Her body was found beside the church around Sportless Villa.

The spokesman of the Students Union Government, Comr. Olaogbebikan Noble, confirmed the incident.

“The law enforcement agency have been informed already and all hands are on desk in getting to the root of the situation. Be rest assured that justice will be served and the law enforcement agency will do thorough investigation.”
