President Tinubu Holds Emergency Meeting With Traditional Rulers, Security Chiefs, APC Governors Ahead Of #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria Protest

Abuja, Nigeria– In a bid to address rising concerns over the upcoming #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest scheduled for August, President Bola Tinubu convened an urgent closed-door meeting on Thursday.
The high-stakes gathering included prominent traditional rulers, senior security officials, and governors from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting was held at the State House in Abuja, the nation’s capital, and was led by Hope Uzodinma, Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, along with the APC governors.
Many traditional rulers attended the meeting with the President, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, and the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Saad Abubakar III, as well as other distinguished traditional leaders from across the nation.
The meeting was attended by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, along with several ministers and other members of the President’s cabinet.
