Hoodlums Strangulate Pub Owner In Osun
Though, the reasons for her assassination is yet to be unraveled
A pub owner popularly called Iya Bisola, operating in Ikirun, Osun State, has been strangulated by hoodlums.
The corpse of the deceased was found in her house located around Oke Glo Area in Ikirun, with marks of violence around her neck.
A resident, who preferred to be identified as Jide, said since Iya Bisola’s business premises located along Station Road, Ikirun, is not close to her residence, people in the neighborhood of Oke Glo where she lived hardly see her, as she usually spends evening time attending to her customers.
Demanding diligent investigation into the matter, he also called for reinforcement of security within Ikirun metropolis to prevent crime.
The public relations officer of Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kehinde Adeleke, during an interview, said officer of the command visited the scene before the corpse was evacuated.
She further said, “A popular Beer Parlor vendor called ‘IYA BISOLA’ at Station road Ikirun was allegedly strangled to death by unknown person (s).
“Though, the reasons for her assassination is yet to be unraveled. Our personnel visited the scene of incident at Oke GLO Ikirun before the corpse was evacuated.”
