53-Year-Old Man Arrested For Sexual Exploitation In Niger state

He confirmed that he is married and he has seven children, but he just found himself in this unfortunate act.

Minna, Niger State-A 53-year-old married father of seven, Abdullahi Imman, has been arrested by the men of the Niger State Police Command for alleged gross indecency and sexual exploitation of nine children aged 6 to 11 in Minna.

This is contained in a statement on Thursday, May 2, 2024, by the Spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, stated that the suspect confessed that he usually lured the children, comprising eight girls and a boy, to his shop with biscuits and other sweets.

“On 27/4/2024 at about 1940hrs, a complaint was received from Tayi village area of Minna at GRA Div that one Abdullahi Imman a.k.a Abba 53yrs of Tayi village had been engaging in sexual exploitation with some children within the Community at his provisions shop.

“The Police operatives attached to GRA Div arrested the suspect, and during interrogation, he confessed that he usually lured the children who are between the ages of 6-11yrs, comprised of eight girls and a boy to his shop with biscuits and other sweets

“He confessed further that he engaged in this act with the children through the use of his finger into their private parts. He said he had been into this act since March 2024

“The suspect has been transferred to SCID Minna for further investigation and diligent prosecution, while the children were being taken to hospital for a medical examination,” the statement read.
