House Of Rep Member ‘Tunji Akinosi’ Caught On Camera Assaulting Police Officer
in May, he was previously filmed assaulting Abiodun Thomas
Abeokuta, Ogun State– A Federal lawmaker, Tunji Akinosi representing Ado Odo/Ota Federal Constituency in Ogun State, was captured in a viral video assaulting a police officer at the Iganmode Day festival on Sunday.
The incident occurred as the yet-to-be-identified police officer attempted to organize the crowd to make way for Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Deputy Governor of Ogun State.
Akinosi was caught on camera hurling his right hand at the officer, questioning her with a stern, “Are you mad?” following the physical altercation.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time Akinosi has been involved in a publicized altercation.
Recalled in May, he was previously filmed assaulting Abiodun Thomas, a Lagos resident, who confronted him for hitting a street hawker with his car.
In the incident, Akinosi warned, “Madam, if you do that, I am going to injure you,” and reportedly smashed her phone at the scene.
