Group Unveil New Leadership, Commends Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq
The organization anticipates that the new leaders will lead with diligence and integrity.
Ilorin, Kwara State: The Kwara Progressives Media Organization (KPMO) on Friday, unveiled its new leadership, commend Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his steadfast support.
The organization also acknowledged the appointment of two former executives, Usman Yunusa Lade, and Musa Nafisat Buge, to the prestigious State Executive Council.
Speaking to the newsmen in Ilorin, the State capital, Lukman Abdulquadri Olarewaju, Chairman of the Transition Committee for (KPMO), disclosed that the selections were conducted transparently and democratically, underscoring KPMO’s dedication to maintaining its core values.
The organization anticipates that the new leaders will lead with diligence and integrity.
The newly appointed executives include Beki Moshood Abdulquadri as the convener, Alabi Wanchiko Oluseun as the general secretary, Ashaolu Samuel Funmilayo as the director of finance, Adeleke Adebayo as the director of contact and mobilization, and Usman Hassanat Nasikat as the welfare director. Additionally, Ibrahim Tunde Ajadi serves as the publicity secretary.
Addressing the newly appointed executive team, Olarewaju stressed the importance of embracing KPMO’s vision and upholding integrity.
He highlighted the pivotal role in advancing the mission to inform the public about Governor AbdulRazaq’s people-centric policies and promote unity between the citizens and their government.
The Chairman acknowledged the remarkable role KPMO played in the recent elections, advocating for the re-election of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and supporting the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The chairman stated that the organization is non-political, without any affiliation to political parties in the state. He emphasized that it extends across all 16 local governments in the State.
“Our dedication to conveying the commendable achievements of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration remains unwavering.
“I want to extend my gratitude to the outgoing Convener, Usman Lade, who has been appointed as the Commissioner for Water Resources and the Supervising Commissioner for Youth under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s government. Additionally, Nafisat Buge, our former Director of Finance, has been nominated as a commissioner, reflecting the caliber of young leaders associated with our organization,” he said.
