Former Kwara Auditor General For LG, Hajia Remi Sulyman Emerges As ANAN Chairperson

Ilorin, Kwara State– In a unanimous decision, Hajia Remi Sulyman, a highly experienced auditor, Chartered Accountant, tax administrator, and forensic auditor, has been elected as the Chairperson of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Kwara State chapter.

Following her contributions to professional accounting, both at the local and national levels, this comes to light.

She started her career as the inaugural female auditor in the Kwara State Office of the Auditor General for local government. With a widely recognized and commendable career, she ultimately retired as the Auditor General for local government in Kwara State.

She was the one who championed the adoption of the new audit law in Kwara state, a law expected to ensure financial sanity in governance.

Mrs Sulyman a fellow of Association of National Accounts of Nigeria(ANAN), Chartered Institute of Forensic and Investigative Auditors(CIFIA) and Institute of Human and Natural Resources (IHNR), she is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation(CIT) and a professional manager of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).

ANAN members in the state express excitement and optimism, believing that her extensive experience, determination, and dedication will contribute significantly to the association’s continued development.
