Nigerian Air Force Kill Over 100 Bandits In Zamfara Airstrikes
The Nigerian Air Force swiftly engaged the fleeing bandits, leading to the neutralization of over 100 of the terrorists
Gusau, Zamfara State – The Nigerian Air Force troops, operating under Operation Hadarin Daji, executed a series of precise airstrikes, neutralizing over 100 bandits in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to an impeccable source familiar with the operation, the bandits, who were reportedly in large numbers, had set their sights on Kebbi State, intending to unleash terror upon unsuspecting communities.
However, their nefarious plans were thwarted when they received intelligence that the Nigerian Air Force troops were positioned along their intended route.
In a desperate bid to escape, the bandits hastily retreated to the dense Dansadau forest in Maru Local Government Area, where they believed they could find refuge.
Captain Ibrahim Yahaya, the spokesperson for the Military in Zamfara State, confirmed the incident and praised the troops for their effective response. While he was unable to provide an exact count of the bandits neutralized, he stated, “It is true that our men were able to neutralize some bandits who wanted to attack some communities. Many of them were neutralized on the spot, but I cannot actually tell you their number.”
